Why Your Psychic Channel Isn't Working at Full Capacity
Your psychic channel is capable of so much more than you're currently experiencing. If you're struggling with confidence in your readings, second-guessing the messages coming through, or feeling like your connection is inconsistent, there are specific, fixable reasons why.
After years of teaching psychic development, I've identified three major obstacles that keep gifted psychics from operating at their highest capacity. These aren't mysterious blocks that require years to overcome. They're practical issues with practical solutions.
How we do one thing is how we do all things. The way you incorporate your connection and embody your gifts in everyday life directly affects your ability to read clearly for others.
1. Waiting for Trust Instead of Building It Through Action
Everyone wants trust in their psychic connection, but most people are waiting for trust to arrive instead of actively building it. There's this belief that one day you'll have a big download or a reading that goes so perfectly that suddenly you'll trust your connection completely.
That's not how trust works. Trust is created through doing. It's built brick by brick in the small, seemingly meaningless moments of your everyday life.
How to Build Trust in Your Psychic Channel
When my spiritual awakening happened and I realized I had a psychic connection, my development came easily and quickly. That's because I had already been putting in the reps, building trust and faith in my intuition (which is your psychic connection, your psychic channel) for all the little random things in my life. When I started delivering psychic readings, it was easy, clear, and I was confident in what came through.
Psychic Development Exercises for Building Daily Trust
Daily Card Pulls Pull a card with one simple intention: "What message do you have for me today?" Then talk it out as if you're sharing with someone else. Don't consult the book, just start verbalizing what you're picking up from the card.
Do this daily, even sending voice notes to a friend for accountability. You'll start seeing how these messages align and resonate in ways you couldn't have predicted. This practice puts in the reps for your psychic channel.
Intuitive Grocery Planning Instead of planning meals logically, be intuitively led. Feel what you're called to cook and assign those meals to days of the week in whatever order feels right. Don't let your brain organize it based on your schedule. Just trust what comes through.
Micro-Decisions Throughout Your Day Use your connection for everything: which coffee mug to use, what to wear, which route to take to work, which book to read. Every decision becomes an opportunity to enhance psychic abilities and build trust.
If you can trust your connection for the little things, you can absolutely trust it for the big things. When you discount your connection for small things, your brain thinks it has to control and run the show. Build trust in the small moments, and the big things become easy.
2. Not Giving What You Get During Readings
This is one of my foundational pillars in psychic work, and it's directly related to integrity. The rule is simple: when you get something, you say it. You don't hold back. You don't decide whether that person is ready to hear it. You don't determine whether you're comfortable bringing it through.
Why Filtering Messages Blocks Your Psychic Channel
Any time you're not relaying information, whether you're seeing, feeling, hearing, or just knowing something, you're actually preventing more information from coming through. You're creating dissonance in your connection. You're causing your psychic channel to clog up.
Your mind gets in the middle, tries to problem-solve or fill in the blanks, tries to redirect the reading. None of this serves the best and highest good of the person in front of you.
When this happens, you leave your client hanging. They can feel the energetic block even if they don't recognize what it is, and that creates confusion and distortion in their energy.
Operating with Integrity in Your Readings
I believe with every fiber of my being that if something is coming through, that person is meant to receive it, even if they don't think they're ready. It's coming through for a reason. Who am I as a human to get in the middle of that, to judge, to determine what they are or aren't ready for?
You as a human being have no place in the reading. This is you and your clear psychic connection coming in to serve the world of spirit, coming in to serve that person's best and highest good.
Why This Matters for Difficult Messages
This comes up most often with the big life topics: relationships, jobs, money. Someone sits across from you, deeply in love with a person and wanting it to work out. Or they've been trying to conceive for years.
That's when people don't give what they get because they're afraid of getting it wrong (which is your brain in the way) or they're afraid of hurting that person. These messages feel heavy and carry a lot of responsibility to our minds, so people avoid them.
But giving what you get is the absolute best thing you can do. When you don't, you're doing an injustice to yourself, to your connection, to your client. You cannot operate from 100% integrity if you're not giving what you get.
When you do give what you get, even if it doesn't make sense or you only have part of the picture, you actually create more energy. You build momentum for the full message to come through. Your job is to be the clear channel, not the editor.
3. Not Using Your Psychic Connection for Everything
This relates to building trust, but it's specifically about how you move through the world when you're fully embodying your connection. You're not trying to receive answers for every single little thing. That's control. Instead, you start just feeling into things.
Integrating Your Psychic Channel Into Daily Life
What do I feel called to in this moment? What would feel best? Which notebook feels right today? Which glass am I intuitively pulled to? Which meal to cook for dinner? Which song to listen to? Which show to watch?
Everything. Go to your connection for all of it.
The more you do this, the more you build trust, faith, and confidence. On the back end of all those tiny things, you start seeing why you took that route, why you had that meal, how things worked out in unexpected ways.
Why Small Decisions Matter for Psychic Development
These are the things people discount. These are the things they don't think add up. But they add up and make all the difference.
When you consistently turn to your connection instead of your logical mind for small decisions, you're training yourself to recognize the difference between mental chatter and genuine intuitive guidance. You're strengthening your ability to discern what's coming through your psychic channel versus what your brain is manufacturing.
This is how you create an accessible, reliable connection that you can count on when you sit down to do a reading. Your connection becomes second nature because you've been practicing it all day, every day.

Welcome back to the podcast. Today we're going to be talking about some of the things that are keeping you from a confident, clear connection. As we go through this episode, there's going to be a couple of them that I share with you that are more from a personal development stance because the truth is, that how we do one thing is how we do all things and how we are incorporating our connection, embodying our gifts, our abilities. the things coming through our channel in our everyday life is also going to affect, whether positively or otherwise, our ability to read clearly for other people. And then there's one that's very specific when it comes to reading for others that I think is not stressed enough. is my number one rule when it comes to reading and just really hammers home the integrity piece of this work. and of you showing up and serving at your highest capacity. So these are not, of course, everything, but this gives you a good idea of things to start taking notice of, ways to start helping yourself create a more confident, clear connection, because at the end of the day, it's not about us, right? I guess our connection can be here to... serve us and help us move forward in our soul mission, our path, our purpose. But it's so that we can show up and create the impact that we're here to create. It's so that we can show up and serve those who have soul contracts to work with us. It's so that we can operate in our highest capacity, not from the typical place where we think of capacity of like, oh my God, that's hustle and force. No, but from a place of really, truly operating at the highest level of our capabilities. consistent seeking for growth and development and mastery of our gifts, of our channel. And these are things that are going to help amplify the work that you're here to do in the world, your ability to do that from a confident place, because let's face it, if you are not confident in your connection, you are not serving at the highest level available to you. So let's talk about the first thing, the one thing that everybody wants, and that's trust. Having trust in your connection. And just like we do in life, we tend to go about trusting our connection in this sense of expecting it to be something that arrives, right? Like there's this moment that happens and then all of a sudden now we trust and we have full faith and we believe and we're waiting for that thing to occur that's going to create the trust. But the trust is created through doing. And let me give you an example. We all want to have the big messages and the big downloads and you know, like the clear guidance come through that just like, oh yes, now I see, now I know, now I understand and I can just Go forward, go forth and prosper. But the truth is that the trust is built in the little things, in the things that seem completely unnecessary, unrelated, all of that. So when you're looking in your everyday life, you want to start developing those trust muscles by playing with your connection. Whether this is you considering it like I'm playing with my intuition. and I'm playing with my guides, I'm playing with my higher self, make it a game, make it fun, right? So that it's not so heavy and weighted and full of attachment and control, resistance. But you wanna start doing things that allow the trust to naturally build in the background. So I'm gonna give you some examples of what this could look like. Daily message polls, like card polls, are fantastic for this because It's just one of those things that it feels fun. We all enjoy pulling a card here and there, but it's also something that builds trust muscles when you're not even realizing it. You think you're just pulling a card and getting a message, but it's actually doing the reps, putting the reps in. And here's how I want you to do it. This isn't like, I'm gonna grab my favorite tarot oracle deck and I'm gonna pull a card and then I'm gonna go to the book and I'm gonna read what the description is in the book. This is me pulling a card and going, okay, like for one, here's the question that I want you to ask, the intention that I want you to set before you pull the card, is what message do you have for me today? That's it. This isn't you trying to figure out things or solve problems or get answers. from your guides. This is literally just you being open to whatever message you're meant to receive. And then whatever card you pull, whatever card flies out of the deck, whatever it is, don't go to the book. just start sharing, and this is the fun way to do it. Just start talking, verbalizing, as though you were sharing with someone else. This is the message that I got today. And you could absolutely do this with a friend. Like just have a friend that's maybe your accountability partner to help you build the trust in your connection. But you could say, okay, I'm going to send you a little voice note each day. That's just me pulling a card and this is... This is kind of the message that I'm picking up from this. Keep doing that on a daily basis and you'll start to see how those messages come back to you, how they align, how they resonate, how they make sense, how they add up and all the different ways, right? Because one single message coming through can have 15 different ways that it's trying to serve you. doing something like that because it's just putting the reps in. When you make a grocery list, instead of thinking about what you should have on the list or what you should be making for this week's meals, just be intuitively led and trust that whatever days of the week that you feel called for each of those things, that that's meant for a reason, right? Instead of you trying to like manhandle it with your mind, okay? So this could look like, all right, I'm going to just feel whatever I feel called. It's like, here are my five meals for this week. And I'm just going to quickly list, you know, Monday, Friday, Wednesday, Thursday, Tuesday, as you're going down through the meals. So it doesn't make sense to your brain. Your brain doesn't have time to get in there and figure out, well, yeah, but we have this thing going on Tuesday and it'd be easier to make this or it might make some more sense to make this. Just play with it. When you do that, you are showing your subconscious, you're showing your brain, you're showing the universe, I'm willing to trust. And even if it doesn't make sense to my mind, even if I can't see or understand the reason behind this right now, that I'm trusting that it's happening for a reason. You're trusting what's coming through, okay? Even if you're like somewhat afraid that maybe your brain's making it up, go with it. figuring out what to wear, figuring out, you know, like which coffee mug you're gonna drink out of, all these little things, what way you're gonna take to work or the grocery store or the salon, using your connection and just being willing to follow what it says. These are the things that everyone discounts and these are the things that will make or break your confidence in your connection. Because if you can trust your connection for the little things, you can absolutely trust. for the big things. And we think it's the other way around. like, well, if I can trust it for the big things, then I can trust it for the little things. But that's not true. That is not true at all. Because then we discount it for the little things. And that's when our brain gets in and thinks that it has to control and run the show. And this is about building the trust. You build it brick by brick, granule by granule, little thing by little thing. And it makes it so easy for the big things to come through. That is exactly how my development went so easily for me when I finally realized, oh my God, I have a psychic connection is because the work that I had been doing since my spiritual awakening before then was putting in the reps, building the trust and faith in my intuition, which is your connection. It's that your psychic connection. That's your psychic channel. I was building. the trust and faith in that for all of the little random, seemingly meaningless things in my life. And so when I started delivering psychic readings and having psychic information coming through, it was so easy and clear and I was confident in what was coming through. So trust, trust is huge. Trust is key. And you don't get there by waiting for that big monumental thing happen so that then, okay, the damn broke free and now I can trust. You get to trust by doing, by utilizing it for everything. And we're going to come back to that here in just a moment. Number two, this is in regards to your readings. Okay. When you are out there giving readings to other people, when you have messages coming through and you are sharing them with people that have given their consent to receive those messages, by the way, it's a whole nother podcast episode, but I just feel really called to share that here. This is You are never ever, ever giving readings or doing readings or trying to connect on someone else's behalf or, or to get information about anyone else without their explicit consent. Okay. Oh, we'll definitely go into that on another, another, uh, episode, but like when you see all those people on. Tick tock or reels or whatever. And they're like, yeah, I remote viewed. so-and-so or iConnected to receive messages um or information about what's happening with whatever celebrity. Run. Run as fast and as far as you can. That is the nastiest, most unintegral way to do things. That is asking for trouble and anyone that operates in that way. should not be allowed to operate in my opinion. Okay, not be allowed to operate in this work, I should say, I don't mean like as a human being living on the planet. But number two, this is give what you get. This is such a piece for me. This is such a monumental, it's like one of my foundational pillars in my work, in my teachings, in development and. how I instruct other people because it centers around integrity. It is absolutely 100 % related to bringing the integrity piece in that is so necessary and needed in any given situation. And what this means is when you get something, you say it. You don't hold back. You don't try to decide whether or not that person is ready to hear it. you don't decide whether you are comfortable or not bringing that through. The one caveat to this is if you ever receive information that is trying to bring in like uh illegal or illicit behavior, right? That's number one, you're either dealing with the mediumship side of things because people that have crossed over are more likely to do things like that. uh Or number two, you are dealing with a dark energy, or an energy, an entity that is not of the light. Either way you wanna shut that down, you don't wanna do that. And you want to close off your energy to that individual. any other circumstance, you give what you get. And there's a few reasons for this. Number one is that when something is coming in, if you don't know how to make sense of it, or you don't know what it means, or you don't have the full picture, or you're nervous to say it because it might hurt somebody's feelings, or it might offend them, or it might not be what you think that they want to come through. any single time for any reason whatsoever that you are not saying what you're receiving, whether it's you're seeing something, you're feeling something, you're hearing something, you're you just know something, whatever it is, anytime you're not relaying that information, and we're excluding the caveat, okay, from this, but anytime you are not relaying that information, you are actually preventing more information. from coming through. You're creating dissonance in your connection, in your channel. You are creating the channel to clog up. And so it becomes harder to receive the information. Your mind is going to get in the middle of it. It's going to try to problem solve or fill in the blanks. It's going to try to redirect the reading. And all of those things are not serving the best and highest good for the person in front of you. So when you give what you get, number one, you're honoring the connection. You're honoring what's meant to come through for that person. I 100 % wholeheartedly believe with every single fiber of my being that if something is coming through, that person, even if they don't think that they're ready for it, they're meant to receive that. It's coming through for a reason. And who am I as a human to get in the middle of that, to judge, to... determine what they are or aren't ready for, what they do or don't want. I have sat in front of mentors in the spiritual space that have said, you know, if X, Y, or Z comes through, like, I just don't feel like that's my place to say something because it might hurt them or it might, you know, upset them or it might influence them. coming through for a reason. The only reason you have those thoughts is because you as a human being are in the middle of the reading and you are not supposed to be there. You as a human being have no place in the reading. This is you and your clear channel coming in to serve the world of spirit. Coming in to serve that person's best and highest good. So you always always always give what you get. And when you do, More information comes up. I have had people that have felt like, oh, like the connection cut off or it just stopped or the message just got like, it just went blank or I really couldn't grasp anything. Number one, you're going to leave your person hanging, sitting in front of you, which is not helpful for them. They can also feel the energetic block, even if they don't recognize what it is. And that can create confusion and distortion for their energy, but Also, you're preventing the messages that are necessary to come through for that person. So you've got to give what you get. Even if it doesn't make sense, you doing that actually creates more energy, it builds more energy for the correct message to come through. uh My guides are like, eh, not correct message, for the full message to come through, okay? correct in terms of like your brain's not getting in the middle of it and trying to direct it a certain way. I run into this a lot when people have questions around relationships, jobs, money, like the big stuff in life, right? If someone's sitting across from you and they're asking, you know, they're like super in love with this person and they're just really wanting it to work out, or maybe they've been trying to have a baby for a few years and it hasn't happened yet. And there are, know, like these bigger, heavier, weightier subjects. They're sitting in front of you and they want the answer. That is most often the time when people don't give what they get because they're afraid of A, getting it wrong, which again, is your brain in the way. It's not your job. It's not your business to be in there. Your brain needs to be out of it. But they're also afraid of hurting that person. Because let's say the answer is, no, I don't see you getting pregnant this year. They're not, they're showing me that a baby is not in the cards for you. Maybe even at all, right? um Or they're showing me that you're not meant to be with this person. Or I know that money's been really tight, but I don't see that clearing up for you for a few months. Right? Like all of those things. They feel very weighty. They carry a lot of responsibility to our minds. And so a lot of people avoid those. absolute best thing that you can do is give what you get. Give what you get every single time. You are doing an injustice to yourself, to your connection, to your person, your client, your sitter. We're doing an injustice to everyone involved. And you are operating out of integrity. You cannot be operating from 100 % integrity if you are not giving what you get. And number three, the third thing that is keeping you from a confident, clear connection is not using your connection for everything. And this kind of relates to number one, right? Like the building the trust, but this is how you build the trust. You use your connection for everything and you're not going in and trying to... Control your connection meaning you're not going in and you're not trying to receive answers guidance messages, etc for every single little thing But it's just you start to move differently you start to operate differently in the world because instead of you trying to Use your mind to determine every single aspect you start just feeling into you. Oh What do I feel called to in this moment? What would feel the best? Which notebook do I feel called to? get out today? Which glass do I feel more intuitively pulled to drink out of? Which meal to cook for dinner tonight? Which song to listen to on my music streaming app? Everything, everything! Which show to watch? What to do with my free time? Which book to read? Like all of the things, all of the things go to your connection for everything. Literally everything. The more that you do that, the more you build the trust, you build the faith, you build the confidence. Because what happens is on the backside, on the back end of all of those tiny little things, you start to see, oh, that made sense. Why? I took that route or why we had that for dinner or that worked out this way or that way. And you're not going to see it for everything because you're not meant to. You're going to see it for a lot of things and that in and of itself builds a confident, clear connection. These are the things that people discount. These are the things that they don't think add up, but they add up and they make all of the difference.
